On next Saturday (20.12. / 19pm) the world of fighting sport is looking at Luebeck! For the first time the "Windy Muay Thai Super-Cup" will be held in the Hanse Halle Luebeck. It is the first and only tournament that takes place in Germany in a series of five tournaments all over Europe. The winners of the tournaments will represent Europe against a selection from Asia in the Finals.
The best German Muay Thai fighters, the English master McAlinden, the Danish title holders Chahrour and Muhareb as well as the 2 time World Champion Nattahawut Pralomram will be there. Altogether 16 fighters determine their Champions in four weight classes (-63.5kg, -69kg, -72kg and -82kg).
The Champions Belts for the "Windy Muay Thai Super-Cup" meanwhile reached Germany .
The highlight of the Windy Muay Thai Super-Cup will surely be the duel between the former German World Champion Rene Mueller (Bujin Gym Rommerskirchen) and the two time World Champion Nattahawut Pralomram from Thailand in the 72kg weight class. At the 82kg weight class the German Champion Priest West (Thai Bombs Mannheim) and the Danish Champion and European Champion Bassam Chahrour will face each other. As a local hero the 26 year old fighter Daniel Schmidt (World of Punch) who hails from Luebeck will try to win in the 69kg weight class.
Afterwards the K-1 Final Battle will start with three of the best German Heavyweights in martial Arts. The brand new German K-1 Champion Vukota Mirkovic among others will face James Phillips (nickname: German Wunderkind).
Phillips is known among experts as the only true German K-1 Hope. His participation in the Japanese K-1 Grand Prix is only a matter of time. The European Kickboxing Champion und multiple German and Swiss Champion in Muay Thai outclassed (29.10. Koblenz) the Dutch Mix-Fight-World Champion Rodney Faverus in his last fight. Germany's number 1 in Muay Thai Asmir Burgic (Rommerskirchen) and the Dutch Top-Fighter Marcel Donk (FC Amsterdam) complete the field.
Next to Show- and TV-Stars the Promoter also got the Universum ring announcer Gerhard Mueller (Hamburg). As the moderator of the evening Michael Deicken (Berlin) guides through the show. From the Big Brother village Yousef Yaqoub (former World Champion in Thai- and Kickboxing) will be there as a special guest.
